Modern ventilation equipment should be energy-efficient, smart and have an attractive design. This was exactly what was discussed at VENTS FORUM 2023, which was held in October in Kyiv at the initiative of Ventilation Systems. Forum participants were presented with the latest VENTS solutions, in particular for decentralised ventilation.
The popularity of decentralised systems in the global ventilation market is growing steadily, thanks to a number of obvious advantages that such equipment offers users. Decentralised units are compact, require minimal installation and commissioning time (just a few hours), do not require the laying of ductwork and performing renovation works, have a modern design, ensure a high heat recovery rate and are easy to operate.
That is why VENTS FORUM 2023 attendees' attention was particularly focused on the latest VENTS decentralised ventilation products, as the company has made significant progress in this area in recent years and is now a recognised world leader in the production of decentralised ventilation systems. Another proof of these words was the presentation of the latest VENTS development, a decentralised heat recovery unit BREEZY, which meets all modern market requirements and has the best technical performance among similar products.
BREEZY unit is designed to provide the necessary air exchange and ensure a comfortable microclimate in new and renovated residential and public buildings. The unit simultaneously supplies filtered fresh air from the street and removes exhaust air from the room through a single opening in the outer wall, providing an air flow rate of up to 90 m3/h.
The high level of energy saving achieved by BREEZY is due to the use of a number of state-of-the-art energy-efficient solutions. In particular, the unit is equipped with two highly efficient EC motors with minimal power consumption (from 5 W). These motors are characterised by high performance, optimal control over the entire speed range and high efficiency (up to 90 %). Another energy-saving solution is the use of a highly efficient copper heat exchanger with a recovery rate of up to 88 %, allowing savings on heating in winter and air conditioning in summer. The heat exchanger is a unique patented development of the company. The new unit also features a user-friendly control system that allows the fan speed to be adjusted according to demand, thus achieving optimum equipment utilisation and reducing energy consumption.
Another eye-catching feature is the modern look of BREEZY, designed by the renowned industrial design studio Dmytro Novikov Design. The inner panel of the unit is made in laconic white and black colours, allowing it to blend harmoniously into any interior.
The new VENTS product is also a prime example of the combination of ventilation and smart technology. BREEZY monitors air quality using temperature, humidity, CO2 and tVOC sensors. The temperature sensors record the temperature of the air outside and inside the room, as well as the supply and exhaust air. The CO2 and tVOC sensors detect elevated levels of carbon dioxide and volatile organic compounds. Information from all sensors is displayed in real time on the internal panel. Depending on the air quality, the most optimal BREEZY operating mode is automatically activated.
BREEZY is equipped with modern automatic controls, which provide undeniable advantages in controlling the unit. First of all, it is possible to change the system settings using the most common mobile gadgets such as smartphones and tablets, using the Vents Home mobile application. BREEZY can be controlled in two ways: in the immediate vicinity of the unit by connecting to the internal Wi-Fi network as an access point, or from anywhere in the world by connecting the unit to its own Wi-Fi network and the Vents Cloud Server.
The control system allows BREEZY to be integrated with your Smart Home system and building management system (BMS). And with the Google Assistant voice assistant, which is available on mobile devices, the Google Nest smart speaker and other smart devices, the ventilation device can be controlled by voice.
VENTS decentralised ventilation units are true autonomous climate stations that incorporate the most advanced technological solutions to meet the needs of the most demanding users.
