Destratificator DRF – efficient energy saving way

Following worldwide trends aimed to increase energy saving and energy efficiency VENTS developed and started serial manufacturing of a new product, destratificator DRF. It is designed for rational use of thermal energy in large premises during cold season.

Large-scale commercial and industrial premises above 5 m height tend to accumulate warm air under ceiling as a result of natural convection whereas at the level of 1.5 – 2.5 m, in occupied areas, air remains much colder. If this thermal energy is not utilized it is dissipated outside. Failure to arrange a correct air circulation system results in significant thermal energy loss and high heating costs.

Use of destratificator minimizes temperature drop of air flows under ceiling and in occupied areas. Destratificator takes warm air under ceiling in and arranged vertical air stream which is supplied downwards through the nozzle guide vanes. This mechanism provides efficient and permanent warm air circulation in the premise.

Destratificators are equipped with single-phase external rotor motors with ball bearings and a centrifugal impeller with backward curved blades.

Both smooth and step speed regulation is performed with a thyristor or autotransformer.

As of today DRF series destratificators are available in two modifications depending on the casing made either of polymer coated steel (DRF VKM) or galvanized steel (DRF VKMz).

Destratificators are the ideal air circulation and ventilation solution for workshops, supermarkets, exhibition and concert halls, sheltered sports centers.
