The new unit is extremely quiet: during operation the noise remains within the 14–38 dB(А) range. In reality this means that you can barely hear it run in a flat while at the office its noise will be hidden by the ambience – you will rather hear the laptop fan.
For a unit this small the new fan packs a serious punch: when mated to a system of 100 mm air ducts a KSV fan provides an air capacity up to 190 m3/h while a step up to 200 mm allows a boost to 650 m3/h. This is nothing short of impressive – especially considering outstanding noise control.
However, what makes this fan truly special are the built-in filters. Even the basic model can have up to three filters to make even highly allergic people happy: a G4 coarse filter, an F8 fine filter or H13 HEPA superfilter while a carbon odour filter can provide the final treatment for ultimate air purity.
But that is not the whole story! KSV ES modification can be fitted with an electrostatic filter which retains microscopic dirt and aerosol particles smaller than 0,01 micron. Such a filter provides the utmost efficiency of supply air cleaning.
