VENTS presents two new modifications of the new duct heaters of NK series with integrated temperature control for air heating in round and rectangular ventilation systems.
The NK heaters are used for automatic air temperature maintenance at set point. The NK…U modifications for round ducts are supplied either with a temperature control unit and have power demand from 0.6 up to 2.4 kW or with a control unit and have power demand from 3.0 up to 9.0 kW. The NK…U heaters for rectangular air ducts are equipped with a control unit and have power demand from 4.5 up to 54.0 kW.

The round duct electric heaters NK…U with a temperature control unit have a temperature control knob with operating temperature range from -10 °C up to +40 °C on the junction box front panel. These heaters are equipped with a duct temperature sensor. The thermal switch with manual reset actuated at +60 °C is used for the thermal overheat protection.
The round duct electric heaters NK…U with a control unit are operated with a triac power control unit. Power control is carried out by means of switching on/off the maximum load. Two overheat thermostats are used for overheating prevention. The basic self-resetting overheat protection thermostat is actuated at +50 °C and the emergency overheat protection thermostat is actuated at +90 °C.
