Why is Breezy Eco
the most eco-friendly and energy-efficient single-room HRV unit on the market?

1

Ensures simultaneous balanced ventilation through a single opening in the external wall

2

Innovative ceramic enthalpy heat exchanger with a honeycomb channel structure that provides low airflow resistance, ensuring high efficiency of up to 92 %, low noise and energy consumption, no condensation, and effective moisture retention during the cold season

3

Ultra-low power consumption of up to 8 W, enabled by energy-efficient reversible EC fans with flexible control via a mobile application. Four operating modes are available: heat recovery, ventilation, supply, and exhaust, with double airflow capacity when both fans operate simultaneously

4

An innovative combination of a regenerative ceramic heat exchanger and an electric heater implemented in the Breezy Eco 160-E model

5

The heat recovery ventilator boasts intelligent control system via a smartphone app. The unit can also be connected to Google Home, allowing centralized control of all smart devices in your home

Ceramic Heat Exchanger

Key advantages:

  • The specially designed channel structure of the heat exchanger reduces energy consumption and noise while ensuring high efficiency during the cold season without additional power required for icing protection.
  • The heat exchanger operates on the principle of regenerative enthalpy recovery, allowing indoor humidity balance during winter by returning up to 50 % of moisture back into the room with the supply air, instead of discharging it outside as condensate.
  • Ceramics are one of the most environmentally friendly natural materials used by humanity for centuries. The heat exchanger is treated with a hydrophobic coating that prevents moisture absorption and inhibits the growth of fungi, bacteria, and microbes on its surface.
  • Quick and easy cleaning at home.

All functions in your smartphone
Breezy Eco combines not only a compact design, but also a wide range of operating modes and smart features, all easily monitored and controlled via a smartphone app, including by utilizing cloud technologies, integration with GOOGLE HOME, Alexa, and voice assistant functionality.

Just say “Hi, Google” and test, control and run your Breezy in English, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Polish, Dutch, French, or Spanish*.

Frequently Asked
Questions

How to choose the right HRV unit?

Clean air is essential for human health and even for the building itself, since stagnant air can cause mould, fungi, excessive humidity or dryness, leading to chronic fatigue and health issues. This is why HRV units are rapidly gaining popularity. Their quiet operation, energy efficiency, and easy installation, even in already renovated spaces, make them a preferred choice.

Different models primarily differ in capacity and functionality.

The required capacity and number of units depend on room size, number of occupants, ceiling height, wind load, and local climate. Therefore, it is best to consult a specialist who can recommend the optimal solution based on all relevant factors.

Functional options depend on your preferences. You may choose a unit with Wi-Fi control and automatic operation based on various sensors (humidity, air quality, CO₂, etc.). Simply set the desired parameters and the system will do the rest.

    How to install?

Heat recovery ventilation units are installed only in external walls facing outdoors. Installation involves drilling a hole of the required diameter using specialized equipment that does not damage wallpaper or create dust. This allows installation even in fully renovated spaces. After installation, the unit is connected to the power supply and Wi-Fi network, followed by testing, commissioning, and user training. Important: installation must be performed only by qualified ventilation specialists. This guarantees proper installation without damage to the interior or the system itself.

What is the warranty for Breezy HRV units?

We are confident in the quality of our products and therefore offer an extended warranty of up to 2 years for all Breezy HRV units.
How does a HRV unit work?

The main function of a Breezy unit is to provide a comfortable indoor microclimate and proper air exchange by simultaneously supplying fresh air and extracting stale air. Comfort is ensured by a built-in heat exchanger that transfers heat from the exhaust air to the incoming fresh air. This way, the heat is prevented from escaping outside and instead transferred to the supply air. In winter, this allows fresh air to enter the room preheated to a comfortable temperature, reducing the load on the heating system. In summer, by contrast, cooler indoor air helps pre-cool the incoming air, reducing the load on air conditioning and saving energy.

What is the difference between an air conditioner and a HRV unit?

The purpose of an air conditioner is to cool or heat the air. Its design does not provide for the supply of fresh air and the removal of stale air. This means that an air conditioner does not provide fresh air, only heated or cooled air. This is insufficient for maintaining human health or preventing condensation, mould, and other issues common in poorly ventilated spaces. Heat recovery ventilation units, on the other hand, provide fresh, filtered air, while maintaining healthy CO₂ levels, humidity, and overall indoor air quality.

How to clean a HRV unit?

The unit is equipped with filters that remove dust and dirt from the air. We recommend cleaning these filters approximately once every 3 months. To clean the filters, remove the front panel, take out the filter, rinse it with water, dry it, and reinstall it. This process is quite simple and quick. Step-by-step instructions are provided in the user manual. Video tutorials are also available on the Breezy YouTube channel.
