For more vivid demonstration of advantages of the fans with EC motors we have added the energy consumption data to the fan performance curves for various operation modes. The new technical data refer in particularly to centrifugal fans for rectangular air ducts, series VKP EC and roof centrifugal fans in steel casing, series VKV/VKH EC.

The performance curves with stated energy demand prove high energy efficiency of fans driven by EC motors.

Energy saving technologies are widely applied in state-of-the-art ventilation industry as a response to both worldwide tendencies aimed at energy saving and the need to satisfy consumer demand for the cost-saving products of each customer.

Use of high-efficient electronically commutated (EC) motors in ventilation industry is one of such energy saving technologies. Such motor type is the most advanced solution for energy saving ventilation.

The basic outstanding feature of the EC motors as compared to DC standard motors is no friction and wearing parts as a collector or brushes. This function is performed by maintenance-free electronic circuit of EC controller.

ЕС motors are distinguished with high performance, low noise level and well controllable total speed range.

Electronic EC controller provides some extra intellectual functions, e.g. fan control according to temperature sensor readings, pressure and other parameters.

Another important advantage of EC motors is no need of external speed controllers. All the EC motor models have analogue inputs for smooth speed control.

Energy demand of EC motors is by 50% less as compared to standards motors whereas efficiency reaches 90%.
