One of the ingredients of Ventilation Systems’ success is continuous improvement of its production capacities and upgrading equipment. Commissioning of a new automatic packaging complex used in one of company’s production facilities became yet another step in this direction.
Production of fans also requires production of relevant product set components such as screws, self-tapping screws, bolts, nuts, washers and various plastic accessories, which are necessary for ventilation products assembly and mounting. In order to automate the process of production of mounting sets for Vents products, a new automatic packaging machine has been put into operation in the preparatory section of the fan manufacturing shop.
The new complex automatically counts plastic and metal components, makes packages according to the specified parameters and fills them with necessary materials, seals them, applies batch numbers, counts finished products and performs a number of other operations. Utilization of a programmable logic controller (PLC) and a human-machine interface allows easy and convenient equipment configuring and ensures a high level of automation of the entire process. A smart temperature controller for controlling horizontal and longitudinal sealing of packages guarantees high tear-resistance, reliability and provides them with a smooth surface. Since all dangerous parts of the machine are fitted with protective devices, the machine also guarantees high level of safety for the service personnel.
Commissioning of the packaging complex allowed to increase the speed of components packaging operations, improve the quality of mounting sets packaging, minimize manual labour in this area and enhance the level of workplace comfort for the servicing personnel.
