The products carrying the VENTS brand are currently available in more than 100 countries worldwide. However the company is far from resting on its laurels and is continuing to actively expand its geographical presence. In particular the company has been taking steps to boost sales of its climatic equipment on the Bolivian market.
As a popular film character would put it Bolivia is indeed a country of striking contrasts. On the one hand the country has vast natural resources holding leading positions in tin, zinc, silver, tungsten, lead, antimony and gold deposits. It also boasts considerable deposits of oil, gas and iron ore. On the other hand Bolivia is among the poorest countries in South America as the poverty rate reaches 50%. Nevertheless the government has made significant economic progress in the recent 10 years: the country's GDP has been steadily growing with an average increase of 11% per year reaching $37,12 billion in 2017 while the GDP per capita has reached $3353 according to last year's data from ($1749 in 2008) while the unemployment rate has dwindled to 4%. The economic recovery makes the local market quite promising for the company's products.
In March 2018 "Ventilation Systems" was visited by our Bolivian partners from AMC who wanted to get an insight into the equipment range to be offered on the South American market. The visitors were taken on a tour of the factory and presented the current product range. In addition to that they had a series of meetings with VENTS executives to coordinate further marketing and sales activities. The visit was followed by a workshop for AMC dealers and product consultants in Santa Cruz, the largest city in Bolivia, attended by a special guest from Ukraine – Alexander Pavlenko of VENTS who came to present the company’s product range.
The workshop participants were introduced to the Blauberg Group which VENTS is a member of, the implemented projects, and ventilation solutions for houses, flats, office spaces, shopping centres and hospitals. Single-room energy-saving ventilation solutions by VENTS stirred a keen interest among the participants since this category of equipment is practically absent from the Bolivian market. The presentation was mainly focused on TwinFresh single-room ventilators and heat recovery air handling units which, according to the VENTS experts, have a strong potential in the local market. Alexander Pavlenko: "For the time there is no competition for our products in this market segment. Santa Cruz, the richest city in the country, is currently being actively developed with expensive condominiums and ambitious private residences being built by dozens. The prospects for our energy-saving ventilation equipment are very good considering the fact that cold season temperatures drop quite low.”
In the recent years AMC mainly specialised in air conditioning systems. However the Bolivian partners place confidence in ventilation products offered by the Ukrainian partners and are determined to boost sales of VENTS products on the local market following the highly productive visit to Ukraine. We also hope to strengthen ties with our South American partners and wish them all the best!
