Vents capacities are complemented with a new metal plasma cutting machine

This year does not cease to surprise and test everybody’s resilience, however, Vents does not see this as a reason to revise its ambitious plans. Company products are in high demand throughout the globe, which means that production processes of the company must continuously improve and develop. One of the main steps towards this is renewing and expanding its production equipment range, which this year received an additional boost. Another example of this mind-set is the commissioning of a new metal plasma cutting machine installed in one of the company workshops.

The commissioned machine was yet another contribution to strengthening the spiral-wound ducts and formed parts (SPIRO) manufacturing line capacities, where it was installed alongside other Swiss-made equipment. Such machinery is just one of the links of the comprehensive production chain for manufacturing formed parts, which allows streamlining the work processes. The machine allows cutting elements of any shape and form from galvanized and mild steel sheets, as well as from aluminium sheets 0.5 to 5 mm thick.

Operation area of the machine is 3,200x1,500 mm, cutting speed is 7-9 m/min. A particular feature of this machine is that it has a feeder, which ensures infeed of metal rolls into its operation area and its cross-cutting. Application of such machine allows minimizing material consumption during the cutting process and reduce time losses for delivery, cutting and feeding of metal sheets. It is also worth noting that the feeder allows feeding two coils of metal simultaneously, which in turn makes it possible for the machine operator to work with materials of different thickness without the need to change coils.

Vents continues to improve and expand its production equipment range, which in turn facilitates not only an upgrade in the quality of the manufactured products and its assortment, but also an improvement in the working conditions for the company employees.
