Vents facilities will become stronger due to launching a new TruPunch 1000 machine tool

Renovating and expanding Vents production facilities are well under way. According to the production upgrading program, TruPunch 1000, a new coordinate punching press from internationally renowned manufacturer TRUMPF, was installed in one of the enterprise workshops.

Installation of new production equipment in the company is driven by constantly growing demand for Vents products and, accordingly, the need to gradually increase production. Commissioning a TruPunch 1000 coordinate punching press will expand the metalworking shop capabilities and ensure an increase in production of metal sheet parts.

The new machine tool allows performing a few operations at a time: chipping, thread rolling, flanged drawing, and plate bending. It has a number of unique functions and is distinguished by compactness and high speed of processing the parts: up to 6.4 mm thick sheets are processed at speeds up to 600 strokes per minute. Medium-format sheets are fully processed in one clamp without additional interception. Innovative dynamics are also worth noting: owing to the use of a compact and dynamic Delta Drive, the workable sheet and the laying table move not along two axes, but along one X-axis, because the chipping head itself moves along Y-axis.

An interesting feature of TruPunch 1000 is the possibility to retrofit it to TruMatic 1000 fiber, a chipping and laser cutting machine tool, also by connecting a TruDisk solid-state laser with a power of 3 kW. This will allow combined processing of parts to be performed using one compact machine tool.
