Two new TRUMPF TruBend 7036 high-speed bending machines have recently been added to the high-tech equipment fleet of "Ventilation Systems". This new addition marks the completion of yet another phase of the company's production facility tooling upgrading program.
As reported earlier, the company has recently commissioned semi-automatic TruBend 5085 bending machines with a large working area that can easily accept large-scale parts. The new TRUMPF TruBend 7036 units have a smaller-size working area and take a minimum footprint. A combination of different bending machines helps achieve an ideal balance and maximise the production of components for air handling units. Now the TruBend 5085 machines are tasked with shaping external frames for such ventilation units while the amazingly versatile TruBend 7036 machines are used for making the internal components.
The new TruBend 7036 bending machines offer a number of significant advantages. Due to their speed small and medium-sized parts can be bent particularly economically. The direct drive torque motor generates high torque, even at low speed. The ACB automatic bending control system helps process a wide variety of materials with extreme precision. The menu-driven touchscreen which can be rotated to avoid reflections and a laser which projects the bend line onto the surface of the sheet metal part make the new units extremely user-friendly taking productivity to a whole new level.
