VENTS takes part in ISH 2017 Expo in Frankfurt Am Main

The biannual ISH expo held in the German city of Frankfurt Am Main, is a pinnacle event on every installation and HVACR industry professional's calendarDuring the 4 days the visitors and exhibitors had a chance to see the latest products displayed over the vast 250,000 square meters of floor space, take part in workshops and attend presentations of heating, water supply, air conditioning and ventilation systems. VENTS, a member of the international Blauberg Group, presented the company's latest energy-efficient ventilation offerings for the domestic and industrial market as well as its single-space air handling units and smoke extraction systems.

This year's ISH expo was attended by over 2,400 companies and visited by 200,000 guests from Germany, Canada, Russia, Spain, Japan, Turkey, Argentina, Australia and many other countries. Carbon dioxide-free heating system and ventilation systems with renewable energy components were among the main focal points of ISH 2017.

As usual, the VENTS display booth received a lot of attention and generated scores of exciting contacts. The visitors had a chance to sample a wide range of ventilation products and integrated solutions designed to reduce ventilation and heating costs. In addition to that the company showcased its new domestic and industrial ventilation products which combine high performance and enhanced functionality such as Wi-Fi control and lighting. In particular, those included the new and updated air handling units with heat recovery which are much easier to install compared to the conventional ventilation systems and do not require any ducting. It should be noted that the VENTS products presented this year are compliant with the Ecodesign Directive.

The new additions to the domestic line of ventilation products included the VENTS Style series low-noise supply fans. The company also showed the Style Eco model which offers record-breaking energy efficiency and boasts a host of intelligent features. The unit provides maximum air capacity of 101 m3/h while keeping noise well under control for an optimum microclimate in the serviced spaces. The power consumption is a stunning 3 W thanks to a DC motor running on roller bearings. The motors are designed to last for 40,000 continuous hours of operation and feature overheating and moisture ingress protection. The Style Eco LED model also has an LED panel with a multi-colour ambient lighting as well as Wi-Fi module. Among the updated domestic models the company showed the VENTS Quiet silent-running fans in a stylish casing with an air capacity of up to 370 m3/h and the unique Lumis axial fans with a built-in light.

The visitors of the VENTS booth were also introduced to a range of energy-efficient industrial ventilation (TT PRO, VK, VKM series with EC motors and TT Silent-MD EC), air handling units with heat recovery (AirVENTS modular units) as well as smoke extraction ventilation products.

In particular, the updated TT-MD ЕС duct fan series combines the versatility and impressive performance of axial and centrifugal fans which results in a powerful air flow and high pressure. The fans equipped with an EC motor whose efficiency reaches a staggering 90 % provide an air capacity of up to 11,000 m3/h while offering excellent noise control. The noise-insulated family of duct fans was represented by the ТТ Silent-MD EC model in a heat and noise-insulated casing which offers a maximum air capacity of 4,370 m3/h.

The VKM EC model holds a special place in the VENTS line-up of centrifugal duct fans. The ЕС motors used in the VKM series helped substantially reduce power consumption (by about 35 %) while retaining the signature aerodynamic characteristics and low noise levels.  This product is ideally suited for supermarkets, restaurants, hotels etc. The fans can be easily integrated into a network with centralised control.

Among the latest products VENTS presented the system of semi-rigid air ducts for supply and exhaust systems with heat recovery. The FlexiVent systems offer numerous advantages such as quick and easy installation and suitability for installation in both floors and walls without any special tools. These durable air vents are capable of withstanding high loads and can be seamlessly integrated with Plastivent ducts.

The updated family of smoke extraction ventilation products was represented by VPVO and JAF axial fans.  The VENTS VPVO pressurisation fans with an air capacity of up to 41,000 m3/h are designed to transport large amounts of air. The fans feature a dynamically balanced turbine with specially profiled blades to unleash the full potential of the motor while the low inertia of the impeller reduces the start-up time. The JAF pulse fans are designed for quick and efficient smoke extraction in case of a fire making them a perfect addition to supply and exhaust ventilation systems of underground car parks.
