Introducing a new product from "Ventilation Systems" – the VUT 230 V5 air handling unit. This new model is part of the series of VENTS air handling units offered in expanded polypropylene casings.
VUT 230 V5 is designed for supply and exhaust ventilation in houses and flats. Coupled with the FlexiVent system of flexible air ducts these units are capable of creating a comfortable breathing environment in an entire home. The units are normally installed in non-residential spaces either on the floor or vertically on a wall. FlexiVent air ducts are routed into every serviced space to provide air supply and extraction.
The unit casing made from expanded polypropylene offers an extra level of ingress protection as well as heat and noise insulation. Polypropylene is also known for high fracture and impact resistance which contributes to a remarkable level of protection for the inner components of the air handling unit. Being light and flexible expanded polypropylene greatly facilitates unit installation. The left and right side panels are provided with quick-access latches for convenient access to the internal components for maintenance.
The VUT 230 V5 units also benefit from counter-flow heat exchanger with a polystyrene core for outstanding energy efficiency. The heat exchanger transfers the extract air heat to the supply air stream thereby maintaining a comfortable temperature in the serviced space and reducing the load on the heating systems. The condensate generated during heat recovery is collected in a special drip pan and evacuated into the sewerage. The VUE 230 V5 is also offered with an enthalpy heat exchanger which recycles both thermal energy and moisture resulting in zero condensation during operation.
The unit speed is adjusted with an analogue of digital speed controller.
