GK type airtight valves are designed for installation on air ducts in ventilation systems as shut-off devices and are used to isolate rooms from the outdoor environment or other rooms connected into a single network.
Airtight valves are designed for a pressure of at least 0.1 MPa (1 kgf/cm²) with a manual drive up to 600 mm in diameter in compliance with the requirements specified in DBN V.2.2.5-2023. The valve is made of powder-coated carbon steel in accordance with RAL 5007 Muar. The transported air temperature should be from -20 °C to +40 °C. The valve can be operated in a temperate (Y) climate of the 2nd placement category (Y2).
The GK valve is a shut-off valve structurally designed as a valve, i.e., its closing element moves parallel to the axis of the operating medium flow.
