The regenerative cartridge is designed to absorb carbon dioxide (CO₂) from the air in civil defense facilities. The cartridge can be used in a temperature range from 0 °C to +35 °C with relative humidity from 35% to 95%. The cartridge contains a chemical lime XP-V type absorber, which meets the requirements of DSTU 9068:2021. The RP-100 regenerative cartridge is activated when the concentration of carbon dioxide in the room reaches 2%. A further increase in concentration to 2.5–3% indicates that the cartridge has been exhausted and needs to be replaced.
When installed in shelters designed for complete isolation, the regenerative cartridge must be mounted in the air ducts that provide air circulation inside the facility (without taking air from outside) and include an air cooler. RP-100 regenerative cartridges are installed in one, two, or three units, each with an air flow of 100 m³/h. A set of mounting parts is provided for each regenerative cartridge. The set of mounting parts depends on the number of regenerative cartridges (3:1, 2:1, 1:1).
