The VENTS range of heat recovery air handling units has been updated with new models fitted with enthalpy heat exchangers (VUE 250 V mini and VUE 250 H mini) and those with aluminium heat exchangers (VUT 250 V mini and VUT 250 H mini). The VUT/VUE 250 V mini models have vertical connection pipes whereas the VUT/VUE 250 H mini have horizontal ones.
The new models replace the tried and tested VUT/VUE V/H mini units. The updated models benefit from a number of improvements including a revised casing design with a higher ingress rating, left-hand or right-hand mounting options, and an auxiliary supply filter compartment.
However, it is the improvements in the heat exchanger department that really set the new models apart from the previous generation. The VUT 250 V/H mini units are fitted with heat exchangers made from aluminium plates. The heat exchanger helps recover the extract air heat and use it to warm up the supply air stream which is extremely welcome during the cold season. Trouble-free operation under extremely cold temperatures is ensured by an electronic protection system which prevents the heat exchanger from freezing. Since heat exchange goes hand in hand with condensation the units are equipped with a special drip pan under the heat exchanger assembly.
The VUE 250 V/H mini units are fitted with enthalpy heat exchangers with a polymerised cellulose core. Unlike aluminium heat exchangers only capable of recovering heat energy, enthalpy-type units also help maintain an optimum humidity level. This feature enables cooling and drying supply air during the hot season or warm up and humidify it during the cold season. Similar to the VUT 250 V/H mini the VUE 250 V/H mini are equipped with an electronic protection system to prevent heat exchanger from freezing and a drip pan for condensate removal.
The maximum air capacity of each unit reaches 250 m3/h. The units are managed via an А12 control panel. Built-in G4 filters ensure supply and extract air purification. The units are additionally fitted with a F7 to provide an extra level of supply air cleaning.
The VUT/VUE 250 V/H mini are characterised with low noise levels. Near-silent operation is ensured by sound-proofing of the unit casings. The installation limitations are next to none as the units can be mounted on the floor, secured to a wall or suspended to the ceiling. Horizontal and vertical connection pipes simplify selection of air handling units for certain ventilation systems with mounting constraints. All the models are compatible with 125 mm round air ducts.
The updated family of VUT/VUE 250 V/H mini air handling units is one of the best solutions for ensuring occupant comfort thanks to a range of energy-efficient units designed to meet a wide range of ventilation equipment requirements presented by various spaces.
